This three-piece indie band played in the vein of Fugazi, but more on the poppy side, and they would do the mid-show-switch, changing instruments. From their website:
Dudes: I don't have anything to say. I know we're playing at least one show this month, but I am not sure of the date. Ask Mat, he'll know. I think it will be on a Thursday. We discussed it at somepoint, but I don't remember the outcome of said discussion. "Life's a beach" - Garfield said that It was on a coffee cup I saw once. Peace.
Tracklist: 01. Intro / The New You 02. Fight Song 03. Stickin' Together 04. Waste of Time 05. Make a Change
Lineup: Anthony Marenisi - Vocals "Posi" Mike Siemens - Bass Patrick McLaughlin - Guitar Joe Corey - Guitar Chris - Drums
This Straight Edge band is the stuff of redding legend... no one dude has ever claimed edge so hard and broken edge even harder as Anthony and it makes sXe anthems such as "We'll! Stick! Together! We're gonna be straight edge forever!" completely hilarious and awesome. Anthony is a hilarious dude and he's even getting a sXe memorial tattoo on his inner thigh reading "true till then" with the date he broke edge. I filled in on drums for a while after Chris quit/was fired (don't remember) right before they broke up, it was a lot of fun and I hope if they ever do a mock reunion one day that I'll be a part of it.
The goal of this blog is to make all those old, rare, out of print tapes, 7"s and CDRs collecting dust in the old dude's closets available to new generations of Redding kids. This is a work in progress, if you have stuff I don't have listed, or if you were in one of the bands and you have masters (some of my demos have definitely seen better days), additional info or anything at all to make this archive as complete as possible, let me know! If you were in one of the bands and for whatever reason you'd like a post taken down (though hopefully that won't happen no matter how embarrased you are, this stuff needs to be rediscovered), please email me. Click on the Album Art for the Full 400x400 files, but everything is included in the .rar archives. You'll need WinRar to open and decompress them, get it here.
