"Shortly before I made the move to the bay i wrote these 4 songs and we recorded them once again with Eric Broyhill in Sacto and once again Mike Hood was there to help "Produce." These were originally meant to be on a split 7inch with GO TIME from Philly as a split record deal with Martyr and Dead By 23 Records but that fell apart as GO TIME broke up and SSB started to fall apart and take back seat to Allegiance also. On an interesting note, the track "Control" appeared on the WCWW #II compilation but Mike Hood made an error with the track title and said it was "You Lose." No biggie I suppose. Anyways, When SSB decided to break up in August 2002 we made 50 cd-rs with a spraypainted "SSB" on them and included all 4 of what was now going to be pretty much unreleased tracks on them with our "Last show" 7inchs. The Artwork attached to them is what was included with the cd-rs. Oh yeah, Ross didn't play guitar on this recording as I did all the tracks. For 2nd guitar we were sort of in between Ross as he was living in Berkeley going to school and having Dan Smith from AFTER THE FALL and FALLING ACTION who still lived in Redding. While Dan never recorded with SSB he will always be a member also. (He did do back up vocals on this recording though). By the time the band broke up Ross was back as guitar again though." - Duane Harris
